Los Angeles, CA. Film Screening
Anarchist film series: Pan's Labyrinth
The collective that is planning the Second SoCal Anarchist conference and Feria Libertaria (August 1st and 2nd) is hosting a series of film screenings to raise awareness and yes, some funds so we can pull of the conference/feria! [Castellano]
Please come Thursday July 9th at 7:30PM, to a screening of Guillermo del Toro's El laberinto del fauno (in Spanish with English subtitles, released in the US as Pan's Labyrinth) and a chat about the Spanish Civil War. It is your chance to see an amazing film, learn and share about anarchism in Spain, and make community with some down-ass comrades!
We'll have popcorn and will be taking donations for the upcoming conference, so it is also your chance to support the local anarchist movement!
Just go to KIWA (Koreatown Immigrant Worker's Alliance), 3465 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 (two blocks down from the Vermont/Wilshire metro station) at 7:30PM. We will take donations at the door but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. More information about the Conference, the Feria, and our next film screening on July 23rd (same time, same place) visit:
