A new site by two longtime organizers presents struggles by radicals of color.
Founded by "Anarchism and the Black Revolution" author Lorenzo Komboa Ervin and Anarchist People of Color founder Ernesto Aguilar, People Of Color Organize! is a new website that launched in late March 2010. It is focused on community organizing, theory, activism and struggle led by people of color globally.
From the site's description, "People Of Color Organize! is a website by organizers supporting critical thinking, strategic work and direct
action for social, racial and economic justice. The website relates tendencies, debates and trends within and emanating from revolutionary left on matters of race, national oppression and self determination efforts. While apologetically left in orientation, People Of Color Organize! is non-sectarian and offers a diversity of viewpoints from many movements."
People Of Color Organize! is looking for feedback, critiques, articles, contributors, artists and anyone who can lend a hand and ideas. Perhaps you blog already or have been thinking of doing so and want to work with others. Perhaps you want to write some stuff but don't want to do all the work associated with site hosting. Whatever the case, you are encouraged to get in touch.
