Israel attacks humanitarian flotilla - stop the massacre and Israel's impunity!

This brutal assault was aimed at hundreds of non-violent activists who had come from all over the world to denounce the blockade of Gaza that has been in force for over three years. The flotilla was bringing aid for Gaza. So far 16 deaths and thirty injuries have been reported. The captured ships are being towed to Haifa, so as to avoid reporters gathered in Ashdod.

The assault by commandos firing live ammunition at activists on the ships bound for Gaza adds yet another black mark to the list of barbaric policies of the State of Israel, whose murderous acts continue with impunity, as at the time of the invasion of Gaza in January 2009.

Thanks to its unwavering support for Israel's policies, the international community has a share of the responsibility for this tragedy. First and foremost, the European Union for allowing Israel, which refuses to stop expanding its colonies, to join the OECD.

This act must not go unpunished! We reiterate our support to the struggle of Palestinians against the occupation, against the colonization, against the construction of the wall and the blockade of Gaza, and we reiterate our support for the Israeli and international anti-colonialists!
