A leaflet with the demands of the protestors at Tahrir Square in Cairo, Egypt.
Tahrir Square, Cairo.
The People Demand the Regime's Fall
We are here, the occupiers of Tahrir Square*, who set off an uprising against aggression and injustice. We have taken a stand by the great power of the people; the people who have suffered for 30 years from suppression, injustice and poverty under Mubarak regime and the thieves in NDP (National Democratic Party). Today the Egyptian people have proven that they are able to take their freedom back and break the tyranny into pieces. The popular demands which hav been stated today in the voice of the people are:
1) The immediate resignation of Mubarak
2) The immediatie resignation of the entire cabinet (Nazzif Government)
3) The dissolution of the alleged parliament
4) The formation of a national rescue government
We are here,in our sit-in unti the full accomplishment of our demands. We are calling for the whole masses all over Egypt, the trade-unions, the parties, the associations - stand up for your demands.
Let's organize strikes, sit-in's, demonstrations in every place in Egypt until the regime falls.
Long live the Egyptian peoples' struggle!
