![]() The capitalist system has developed to a higher stage. The concentration of capital and the lowering of borders between individual capitalist states has diminished national competition and brought a new era. No more threat of military wars between States and blocs of States. Much less the need of capitalists to ensure the willingness of wage slaves to fight for them in wars. Production and even services are moving to the less-developed countries. Many guest and migrant workers are arriving in developed countries... and the capitalists are extracting more and more surplus value. The big crash of the bubble of housing at the capital periodic crisis "forced" the capitalist states to cover the losses of the banks and to increase the taxes of the working class.
The "success" of the neo-liberalism to decimate the "middle class" strata of the working class my ignite an uprising in the main capitalist states like it did in Israel... not just in Greece and Spain.
Media reports Thursday that already 2000 are participating in the Tel-Aviv tent camp. Other locations in Israel start their own tent camps. Some protest marches to various targets were initiated. Media and camp protesters connect the struggle to the wider social and political problems. A big demo was called for Saturday late evening.
