Mobilization convened from 29 May to 15 June in Spain

To continue the fight for our rights, we call several days of demonstrations that kicked off on May 29th and will finish June 15th.

This May marks the first anniversary of a popular movement that managed to take to the streets the indignation of men and women in many parts of the world: from "Arab Spring" through to “Occupy Wall Street”. The initial explosion of indignation of May 15th 2011 evolved into different assemblies in towns and neighborhoods, tasks groups and an extensive network of communication, mobilization and action. These linking all common struggles that affect us the whole population and that were focused to this organic network with collective approach. This makes us aware that we are not alone and that united in action we can change things.

CGT, CNT and Solidaridad Obrera by all means support the demonstrations which are held in the 12M 15M, calling upon all working people to take the streets, squares and actively participate in all activities organized for these days. As trade unions we identify with the slogans of this movement:

"Not one euro to rescue the banks! All for quality education and public health, nothing for precarious work nor the Labor Reform! Decent homes NOW!"

The CGT trade union, CNT and SO, call General Strike of last March 29 a success through and through. The attitude of state and regional governments has not changed at all: the wave of the Labor Reform and social cuts is still on its way. We consider absolutely necessary for the working class, and especially for the most affected by this measures, to continue demonstrating. It’s more than ever necessary to fight and defend all of our rights. The entire population is suffering!

During these days we will be present at rallies, demonstrations, workshops, consumer strikes, days of action and all kinds of action that we consider necessary to show the abuse to which we submit. We are already heading toward another general strike. Our target: revert back all the brutal cuts suffered, revert back the Labor Reform and get back all our rights.

We know that to do so, we must come together and work with those unions, social movements and all other participants. We all are suffering this unjust situation and we are all for mobilization. We invite you to join in and participate!
