Arakib, Beit Umar, Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Qaddum, Sheikh Jarrah South of Hebron Hills

The activists of Bil'in were not the first to join the popular unarmed struggle against the separation fence, occupation, and settlers encroachment. However, the Bil'in activists together with the anarchists against the wall were the first to start a persistent struggle with a non stop week after week of activities. Activists from near and far villages came to Bil'in to support and to be inspired, and together started to struggle in their own villages. Ni'ilin, Ma'asare, Beit Umar for few years... and later villages that struggle against the the encroachment of settlers and occupation blocks - Nabi Saleh and Qaddum. Higher levels of organization and activities of the coordination comity of the local popular struggle comity and just lately a coordination comity of a group of villages in the south of the occupied west bank. Bil'in

Friday 1/23/2015 Today in Bil'in we were dozen Israelis with the anarchists against the wall initiative, about dozen internationals and dozens of Bil'iners. When we started to march from the village to the areas of the returned lands, the Israeli armed forces did not wait and started to fire tear gas grenades. As the wind was friendly they failed to disperse us and even shooting bullets did not do more than make us to retreated a bit.
After more than an hour of confrontation the state forces went away.
A young Palestinian, Mohammed Abu Rahma was seriously injured in his head by an Israeli rubber bullet. Three other Palestinians including a journalist were also hit and wounded by rubber bullets during today's weekly demonstration against the Israeli occupation in Bil'in.

Hamde Abu Rahma:
"After this young boy was shot in his head, the Israeli army followed him, as he could not run too well. They were trying to arrest him but I grabbed him and held him in my arms and ran with him to the safety of the ambulance. The Israeli army kept shooting at us from very close range. My duty is to take photos to document life under the occupation, but when we see someone in trouble, our humanity must act first and we must always come to each other's aid."

Bil'in - 30-1-15, three weeks to the ten years anniversary. At Friday noon, 13 Israelis with the anarchists against the wall initiative, and many international activists joined the Bil'iners in the weekly demonstration against the separation wall and occupation and in solidarity with the 14 years old Malak incarcerated after falsely blaming her that she threw stones on soldiers. Though the western wind carried the tear gas showered toward us, few participants succeeded to find a round about rote and arrived behind the soldiers where they could not sower them with tear gas. After a long while when the tear gas reach the village most of us dispersed.

Nabi Saleh

Friday 1/23/2015 - The weekly march began from Martyrs' Square in Nabi Saleh, raising the Palestinian and Egyptian flags and frequency slogans against the occupation in all its forms and expressions, and its presence in our land. In an attempt to gain access to confiscated land and before approaching the checkpoint, the occupation forces threw the demonstrators heavy tens of poison gas bombs, rubber bullets and live ammunition (TOTO) knowing that the village is exposed to continued attacks during week closure of the iron gate at the entrance of the village and to incursions with the next inspection houses and arrests. Moreover, yesterday, they used a new type of long-range bombs.
The weekly protest in Nabi Saleh followed a week of IDF raids in the village and arrests of residents, as well as what seems like the introduction of a new weapon that contains an unknown orange-colored chemical.

Nekodim

Younes Arar: "30 January 2015. South West Bank popular Committees organized today an olive trees planting activity for private Palestinian land adjacent to the illegal Zionist occupation Nekodim colony where the terrorist Zionist occupation minister of External Affairs Avigdor Liberman is living, to the east of Bethlehem. We were intercepted by 10s of heavily armed Zionist occupation forces and colonists while we were on the way to that area, attacked us and tried to force us back, but we insisted to reach the targeted area and plant our trees. The land owner was not allowed to enter and plant his land for the last 15 years. After about an hour they allowed us to plant the trees but to leave the land after 15 minutes, which means we have to do the planting in just 15 minutes. So, we reached the land took our time planting the trees under the guns of the Zionist soldiers and colonists, but we planted our olive trees, they tried to stop us, to terrorize us, but we planted our trees, 30 January 2015."
