It is hard to assess what is the part of the joint struggle and the B.D.S. in the serious crack in the Israeli elite. It was expressed by the leader of biggest opposition party - The Zionist List which suggested a partial agreement of withdrawal (even from part of the expanded Jerusalem). Since 1967 war, all the years the official position was that Israel will retreat from most of the occupied territories of the 1967 war if the Palestinian will agree to a peace pact that will include among other conditions the non return of the 1948 refugees. As it was clear that no Palestinian leadership will be able to do that it was clear to all that the monolithic consensus of the Zionist parties is to continue the occupation for ever. It is not surprising that even the leader of the radical leftist Zionist party Merets oppose this radical suggestion for withdrawal with out the (non achievable) final peace pact.

"Today was the weekly demonstration in Bi'lin. Israeli soldiers have shot today with another kind of bullet than the usual ammunition they use. For me it is still unknown, and I don’t know exactly what kind of damage it can cause when you are hit with this. We now know that they are using us to test everything on, so perhaps this is why they used this kind of bullets".

22-1-16 Today the weekly demonstration in Bi'lin was in solidarity with Ahmed Manaser. 8 anarchists of Ahdut (Unity), and 8 with the anarchists against the wall initiative, joined about dozen internationals, and the village activists and youth. Due to the mostly northern wind the Israeli state forth could not disperse us. The shooting of lot of tear gas and some bullets just made us to keep a distance from the troops. A 10 year old boy was hit by a plastic bullet, fortunately it was not life-threatening. After the usual half an hour of harassment the state force retreated and we declared another small size victory...
22-1-16 Ayat Zahi Ali 9 years was shot in her hand with live bullet while she was in her fathers house today in Kafr Qaddum.
Hamza Abu Khaled 21 years was shot in his leg with live bullet.
Abd Allah Anwar 40 years was shot too in his leg with live bullet

22-1-16 Villagers of Nabi Saleh marched today demanding the release of Ahmen Manasara, a 14 years old child from Jerusalem who is languishing in Israeli jail, accused of attacking a Jewish settler. Manasara was seriously injured by Israeli police, and a video from the scene shows him lying in a pool of his own blood while a settler verbally abuses him and tells him to “die already.” Manasara is merely one among about 400 Palestinian minors in Israel’s prisons. Marchers confronted the Israeli army, as the soldiers attempted to disperse them using tear gas and rubber coated steel bullet. One teenage girl was injured from a bullet
Israel's 'war' against BDS is increasingly desperate

On 6th January, 2016, IDF soldiers came to the Bedouin village of Abu Nuwar (of the Jahalin tribe, refugees since 1950), next to the settlement Ma’ale Adumim (E-1 area) and demolished the homes and toilets of five families. On Sunday, 10th January, 2016, the soldiers returned and confiscated tents that had been donated as humanitarian aid to the newly homeless families, following the demolitions. On Thursday, 14th January, 2016, IDF soldiers insisted on yet again visiting the community to confiscate aid tents that had again been supplied to those Palestinian victims of the original home demolitions, incurred during the IDF soldiers’ previous visits.

The Israeli army continues its expulsion practices against Palestinians living in the Jordan Valley (West Bank). The army notified two Palestinian communities in the Palestinian Jordan Valley – Ibzik (near Bardala) and Ras Al Ahmar (near the Jewish settlement of Beqa'ot) that they are required to leave their localities because of army maneuvers. On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 they must stay away from 12 noon until 8 p.m., and on the morrow, they must not be there from 6 a.m. until 12 noon.

On Tueday, January 19, 2016, government agents escorted by police demolished yet again the Bedouin village of Al Arakib.
