 Revolutionary Anarchist prisoner and Anarchist Meydan Newspaper writer Umut Fırat Süvarioğulları has ended his hunger strike action that he started on December 11, 2016, against the conditions of State Of Emergency (SOE) he was exposed in Izmir Yenisakran T Type Prison number 4, where he was "transferred for exile", being forced with 20 people to stay in 14 person cells and sleep on torn beds with blood, against continued pshycological pressure, torture and unrecognition of his revolutionary anarchist political identity, on its 55. day. [Türkçe] [Italiano] Prison administration took a back step as a result of Umut Fırat's determined struggle and they changed his cell as per the demands of our comrade. Comrade Umut Fırat communicated through his family, that he ended his hunger strike when his demands were met and his health condition is fine.

As Anarchist Political Organization, having organized the Anarchist Meeting for Struggle against Borders, War and Modern Totalitarianism and for Solidarity with refugees and immigrants during the No Border Camp, we express our solidarity to the squatted spaces who were hit by the state repression. To our comrades, refugees and immigrants who supported the mobilizations, beforehand and during, with their presence and activity, turning them into a target of the repressive authorities, for what they stand for as a part of the world of Struggle.
The far-right bastards of syriza go smoothly hand in hand with ND (nea dimokratia, right-wing party in power before syriza’s election), anthimos (the metropolit, church’s highest officer in Thessaloniki) and all the rest pile of shit, consisting the long arm of repression. Umut Fırat Süvarioğulları, il rivoluzionario anarchico in carcere nonchè editore del giornale anarchico Meydan ha messo fine allo sciopero della fame che aveva iniziato l'11 dicembre 2016, contro le condizioni di detenzione dello Stato d'emergenza (SOE) a cui era sottoposto all'interno della prigione di Izmir Yenisakran T Type numero 4, dove era stato "trasferito per l'esilio", costretto insieme ad altre 20 persone a stare in una cella da 14 persone e a dormire su letti sporchi di sangue, in condizioni di continue pressioni psicologiche, tortura e mancato riconoscimento della sua identità di rivoluzionario anarchico.
L'amministrazione della prigione ha fatto un passo indietro in seguito alla determinazione della lotta di Umut Fırat e gli hanno cambiato la cella sulla base delle richieste del nostro compagno. Il compagno Umut Fırat ha comunicato tramite la sua famiglia che ha messo fine allo sciopero della fame quando le sue richieste sono state accolte ed ora le sue condizioni di salute sono migliorate.
La vittoria del compagno Umut Fırat nel 55° giorno di sciopero della fame contro le modalità che hanno creato un SOE all'interno del SOE nelle carceri, è la risposta alle istituzioni statali che intendono trarre vantaggio dall'arbitrarietà e dalla flessibilità dell'applicazione del SOE. Questa vittoria è anche la vittoria in nome di tutti i prigionieri che sono sottoposti ad un trattamento simile indotto dall'applicazione del SOE.
La lotta che Umut Fırat ha portato avanti con determinazione è stata sostenuta da azioni di solidarietà nei posti in cui viviamo ed in altre parti del mondo; cercando di aggiungere altre voci alla sua voce. Ringraziamo tutte le organizzazioni rivoluzionarie che non lo hanno lasciato solo e tutti coloro che gli hanno portato solidarietà durante lo sciopero della fame.
