Repression in Brazil.

The Military Brigade used violence to vacate the City Council Chamber of Cachoeirinha this morning. Rubber bullets and sound-shrapnel grenades were used against the municipal workers who were in the fourth week of a strike and were occupying the Chamber to protest austerity measures introduced by the municipal government. About fifteen people were injured and three workers (two men and one woman) were arrested and taken to the police station for processing.

Solidarity!

Freedom to those who are imprisoned for political dissent!

To struggle is not a crime!
