RED ALERT!! Encampment and tree sit to resist the eviction and save the South Central Farm...
Encampment and tree sit to resist the eviction and save the South Central Farm has begun!! The L.A. County Sheriffs Department has received notice to execute the eviction of the farmers and supporters at the South Central Farm. The Farm and farmers need your help now!!
If you are willing to encamp with us our legal team will offer counsel and you will also be given a, "Know Your Rights" Training as you will be risking arrest. There is also a Unity Principles form which all participants in the encampment must sign in order to be part of the community tree sit/ encampment. The greater the numbers encamped increases our chances of success. Those who cannot stay in the farm can still help us by coming to daily vigils, becoming legal observers and bringing supplies to those inside. Bring a chair or anything you would need to be an active witness.
The time has come to show the politicians, developer and global community that we are serious about environmental justice in South Central Los Angeles. The greening of L.A. starts with the preservation of the South Central Farm. Bombard the local officials with calls and emails to save this oasis. We want a livable city!! We want the Farm!!
FYI: The Trust for Public Land is no longer fundraising for us. The contract has expired and we are once again standing alone defending our dignity.
How can you help??????

Mr. Horowitz, you are now a villan having so many police come storm your property to remove the protesters yet you refuse to sell and continue to jack up the price. You don't want to sell.
Now I know your name, Mr. Horowitz. You are now know as villan.
You have fulfilled your prophecy and have only yourself to blame. This is what you want?
Who will now want to store stuff in your warehouse?
You need to be honest. You then need to be humble. You then need to start caring about other people regardless that you get anything in return. That is what a gift is. Otherwise, you pass up your chance to make somebody happy and I can't see that you are happy at all.
