Red & Black Forum:
What is Anarchist Communism?
Dear Friends and Comrades,
On Saturday, 16th February 2008 members of the Zabalaza Anarchist Communist Front (ZACF) will be hosting a workshop on anarchist communism, and its relevance today as a way forward for working class struggles in South Africa and beyond.
The workshop will start with an introduction to the aims, principles, strategy and tactics of anarchist communism, followed by discussion and a questions and answers session.
Each invitee is encouraged to bring two or three of their friends, co-workers or comrades, who they think will find the workshop and discussions of interest.
Please confirm if you will be attending, and how many people you intend to bring with you before Wednesday, 13th February.
In Solidarity,
Jonathan - ZACF

In your educationals, do you distribute any easy to read texts? Or do you have a prepared text from which the presenters work off of? Be interested to know.
Good luck & solidarity
Mitch, Generally we present from previously prepared notes or documents, sometimes distributing some relevant reading material to illustrate a point. We do distribute pamphlets at these workshops, but they are usually additional reading over and above what the workshop is about. The RBF above, however, will be the first after a change in methods and tactics which we are trying - and I suspect that we will prepare easy to read texts, or reproduce an existing text, which we will use as a guide and go through with those in attendance.
Thanks Jonathan. Would it be possible to share the public texts? I'd be interested in seeing them and, perhaps, adopting from them.
Feel free to email us at: wsany@hotmail.com
Solidarity,
Mitch
