Each year a group of Anarchists and sympathisers organises a small protest on Anzac Day outside the old headquarters of the Industrial Workers of the World. During World War I, the IWW was a large revolutionary syndicalist insurgency within the Australian labour movement and it was instrumental in defeating an attempt to introduce conscription.

This year, the protest was smaller than in the last couple of years, but the protesters were more active in reaching out to the general public passing by.
