Reflexions sobre el sentit de les actuals revoltes àrabs i les seves conseqüències per a la teoria revolucionària, particularment, per als debats entorn de la democràcia i al poder popular.

Els cridats a la "democràcia" han suscitat un agut debat polític a nivell global pel que fa al contingut polític d’un terme tan flexible com "democràcia". Sobretot perquè no és el mateix quan parlen de "democràcia" liberals encorbatats als passadissos de les institucions del poder, a quan aquesta paraula està en els llavis del poble pla mobilitzat als carrers.

El carrer és l’espai per excel·lència on s’expressa el poder dels de baix. És l’espai simbòlic on lliuren la seva batalla a mort amb els de dalt. Aquí és on experimenten amb formes alternatives de maneig de la "res pública", de la cosa pública. Els sectors populars, quan han irromput en l’escenari de la història mitjançant les protestes, en tot moment han establert, en el ple exercici de la democràcia directa, la seva pròpia institucionalitat al marge i en oposició a la institucionalitat oficial, a l’Estat.

An anarchist call for solidarity

The news flooding from Libya is very shocking. Qaddafi's regime is perpetrating a horrible massacre against the masses in revolt, the mercenaries recruited by Qaddafi's regime, besides the regular army and security forces, are opening fire at unarmed Libyan people...

We anarchists and libertarians don't want to underestimate the possibility that some repressive power - Islamist or any other - could take over the revolution, but we don't prefer non-religious repressive powers over religious ones. We opt for the real freedom of the masses, for a free self-managed society organized freely and voluntarily from the bottom upwards. In the face of any such possibilities we see that the only proper response is popular direct action, conducted by free masses..

الانتفاضات الكبرى التي هزت العالم العربي في اليمن , الجزائر , تونس و الآن مصر قد فاجأت الجميع . إنها من دون شك واحدة من أهم الأحداث في وقتنا التي ترسل رسالة واضحة أنه لا يوجد أي مكان في هذا العالم كتب عليه أن يكون مجرد ملعب لديكتاتور ما مدعوم من الإمبريالية . تبين أن الأنظمة مفرطة السلطوية مثل نظام بن علي كانت عاجزة تماما في وجه شعب موحد و مصمم على خوض النضال . الناس الذين يقومون بالثورة هم شباب , عمال , عاطلون عن العمل , فقراء , و هم الذين يشكلون اليوم صورة المنطقة , و يرسلون رسائل مثيرة للقشعريرة إلى العصابات التي تجلس في واشنطن و تل أبيب . لم تمتلك كل الأسلحة التي جمعها نظام مبارك و لا كل الدعم الأمريكي العسكري القوة الكافية لمنع الاحتجاج من أن يتعاظم . إنها تظهر قوة الشعب و الطبقة العاملة عندما تتوحد , و تظهر الإمكانيات السياسية للناس العاديين في خلق سلطة مزدوجة بغريزة تحررية واضحة و هي تثبت للعالم أننا في مرحلة تغير ثوري . كان لنا حوارا سريعا مع رفيقنا مازن كم الماز من سوريا , محرر المدونة اللاسلطوية www.ahewar.org/m.asp?i=1385 الذي تحدث عن أهمية هذه الحركة السياسية الرائعة

The development of joint struggle together with the Palestinians against suppression and the Occupation, promoted by Matzpen and later by Anarchists Against the Wall, has not been done in the name of some nationalist urge or the illusion of building a Palestinian nationalist entity (so-called "national liberation"), but for simple "Liberation" - an end to Israeli settler colonialism and occupation.

Anarchists from all over the world have joined the ISM (International Solidarity Movement with the Palestinians) as individuals and members of the AAtW already participate in the local and international BDS initiative, as do many anarchist activists all over the world. Now it is time for the international anarchist movement and its various organizations, federations and collectives, to express their solidarity with our struggle by initiating and/or formally joining in BDS activities.

Nos organisations affirment leur entière solidarité avec la lutte du peuple tunisien pour la liberté et la justice sociale et son soutien aux militants anticapitalistes tunisiens ; elles condamnent l'attitude des États occidentaux et plus généralement de leur classe politique, de droite comme social-démocrate, investie depuis toujours dans le soutien au pouvoir autoritaire de Ben Ali.
