There is a difference between strategic divergence and ideological opposition. Nevertheless, even in tendencies that have relatively high ideological affinity, this misunderstanding can be found and has consistently led to splits in both anarchism and in popular movements. Some tendencies do not aim to organize on the political level, and in our current context, it makes sense to elaborate on the particular organizational and strategic problems with this kind of anarchist politics because, for us, part of our role as a small engine within a growing Popular Power is to keep generating and dissipating liberatory theory and practices.

Ο Αμερικανικός Αναρχοατομικισμός της περιόδου μέχρι τα μέσα του 1890 είναι πασιφιστικός, ηθικός και φιλοσοφικός αλλά «σαλονάτος», εξέφραζε δε τις τοπικές ιδιαιτερότητες του αναπτυσσόμενου κόσμου της άγριας δύσης που έφθινε αλλά όχι του νέου βιομηχανικού ονείρου στο οποίο μεταστοιχειώνονταν οι ΗΠΑ.

Μια αρχική προσπάθεια εξήγησης και ανάλυσης του Αμερικανικού Αναρχισμού επιχειρήθηκε στην εισαγωγή που έκανα στο βιβλίο των εκδόσεων Σοφίτα για την Βολτερίν Ντε Κλαιρ «Γιατί είμαι αναρχική», συνέχισε με την μετάφραση του «Μανιφέστου του Πίτσμπουρκ», αλλά διαπίστωσα ότι υπήρχαν κενά που έπρεπε να καλυφθούν. Σε αυτό το τρίτο μέρος επιχειρείται η αποτύπωση του χρονικού της διάσπασης μέσα στο Αναρχικό κίνημα των ΗΠΑ ώστε να γίνουν πιο ξεκάθαρα τα αίτια που οδήγησαν σε αυτή μέσα σε μια ταραγμένη περίοδο που ο Αναρχισμός στις ΗΠΑ αποτελούσε ένα σημαντικό πολιτικό κίνημα.

Cette volteface sur un projet évalué à 14 milliards $ est le résultat de plusieurs années de luttes écologistes. Concrètement, ce sont de petits collectifs populaires locaux, organisés sur la base d’assemblées, qui ont réussi à faire pencher la balance. Devant eux se dressaient un promoteur, un État et des élu-e-s qui ont dépensé des millions $ dans une bataille qui leur était annoncée gagnée d’avance par un gouvernement conquis à leurs idées.

Em 25 de maio de 2020, George Floyd, um homem afro-americano de 46 anos de idade, foi assassinado por asfixia executada por um policial branco do Departamento de Polícia de Minneapolis (estado de Minnesota). O assassino foi o oficial de polícia Derek Chauvin, permanecendo por 8 minutos e 46 segundos sobre o pescoço da vítima. Os demais policiais, Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng e Thomas K. Lane foram cúmplices, sendo que Kueng ajudou a imobilizar o “suspeito”. O crime de George, tentar comprar cigarros com uma nota de 20 dólares, supostamente falsa. Para termos uma ideia de comparação, Donald Trump, o próprio, é um empresário picareta que quebrou seis vezes, entre 1991 e 2009 e “espertamente” não deixou na reta escapando das “leis”. Com bons advogados e excelentes tributaristas, o sistema de Justiça do Império é perfeito para o andar de cima. Desde então os EUA mergulharam numa panela de pressão, começando pela própria Minneapolis (ver https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Wz69m4hKsw) cujo estopim foi mais esse assassinato de outro homem negro. Neste artigo, faço uma modesta reflexão de contatos com as esquerdas daquele país que ainda é a potência hegemônica – embora decadente - sobre a nossa América Latina.
