Three military recruiters had foolishly chosen to set up their literature table in front of where the student march intended to rally. Nearly 400 SCCC students marched to our rallying point on the first floor of SCCC, surrounding the three military recruiters and demanding that they leave the campus immediately. Thoroughly intimidated, the recruiters promptly gathered their possessions and left under the escort of SCCC security.
