The arrests of the comrades and the heavy charges against them cause no awkwardness, they bring solidarity.
The attacks on spaces, occupations and places of struggle will bring no isolation, but even higher doggedness and crouch.

Murdoch's Empire is not simply just a commercial profit–fuelled industry, but a tool and psychological weapon that is used to cater for acceptance of a certain political agenda. If we, as a movement want people to support our ideas and begin to realise the true ills of capitalism, they have to become aware of people like Rupert Murdoch, and the power individuals it can have over influencing the way people think read full story / add a comment

Michael Moore’s latest documentary is a critique of capitalism- in mainstream theaters- pretty big deal. “Capitalism: A Love Story” starts off comparing the US to the Roman Empire- a fairly easy task. In addition to other commentary, the documentary seems to be focused on the anti-capitalist stance of various Catholic priests, the consequences of the housing crisis, corporate bailouts and, finally, some alternatives in the form of worker-run workplaces. read full story / add a comment

Nada malo. Lo que sea. Poco o nada me gusta su guasca pop.

Born of a Catalan mother whose family fought Franco’s forces in the Spanish Civil War and a father who juggled a nursing career and a passionate interest in painting, Cantona’s humble lineage portrays a character quite different to the one we should have expected from the one on the field, with his upturned collar and puffed out chest, his air always suggested that of a French nobleman; that and his football eventually led to him to be known as King. read full story / add a comment
