As class struggle anarchists who recognize the importance of a diversity of tactics in order to attack Capital, the State, and oppression in an effective manner, we see the black bloc as an important tool of struggle. Only one tool among many, but an important one nonetheless. read full story / add a comment

Many are those who talk about direct actions these days, fewer try to explore its meaning, asking what kind of tool it is. This is not a semantic question but one of substance - one that lies at the core of the whole anarchist, social-revolutionary project where "the emancipation of the working classes must be conquered by the working classes themselves," and the means are determined by and contained in our ends. read full story / add a comment

A call to exclude the SWP and its many front groups from Anarchist movements, non-Anarchist community groups, and general struggles.

The attack is directed at the leadership of the SWP, NOT the rank and file membership.

Also contained are some other points regarding Anarchist organisation, or lack thereof, and the damaging effect that this has upon the sreading of Anarchist ideas and influence. read full story / add a comment

SYNDICALISM is the largest organised tendency in the libertarian movement today. It has built large workers' unions, led major struggles, been the popular expression of anarchism in many countries. To understand the anarchist-communist view of syndicalism we have to look at its roots, its core beliefs and its record. read full story / add a comment

This lengthy review of the 'The Organisational Platform of the Libertarian Communists' was found online and seems to try to fuse anarchist communism with left/council communism. This is not unique and offers the other side of a particular debate within anarchist communist than that represented by the organisations active in this site. This is clear in the text below from their rejection of working in mass organisations like unions. read full story / add a comment
