Maryse Narcisse has been disappeared, taken by armed men in front of her house, as of yesterday, October 28, 2007 between 7 and 8 pm.

According to sources HLLN spoke to in Haiti, the police have been apprised andare working on the matter.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Dr. Maryse Narcisse was appointed spokesperson for President Aristide after the 2004 coup d'etat and is currently an executive member of the Ruling Lavalas Executive Committee for Fanmi Lavalas. She was forceably taken, by a group of armed men, as she reached her home, after leaving a meeting with So Ann and others of Fanmi Lavalas.
