Reproducimos artículos e informes de actividades realizadas por los anarquistas colombianos en conmemoración del cuarto aniversario del cobarde y bestial asesinato del compañero Nicolás Neira en Bogotá. "Nico", como le llamaban sus compañeros, fue un muchacho de tan sólo 15 años, asesinado a palos durante la marcha del 1o de Mayo del 2005 por la policía anti-disturbios colombiana, la temida ESMAD. Su asesinato ocurrió a plena luz del día, en pleno centro de Bogotá. Este crimen se suma los miles cometidos bajo las "bondades" de la "Seguridad Democrática" de Álvaro Uribe Vélez, quien preside un régimen que asesina a los muchachos antes de que logren convertirse en hombres o mujeres... como nos recuerdan las fosas comunes del paramilitarismo, plagados de cuerpos mutilados de niños. Pero este crimen ocurrió a plena luz del día, en pleno centro de Bogotá, a palos, por uniformados bien identificados... y sigue en la impunidad. read full story / add a comment

Las organizaciones populares y movimientos sociales centroamericanos reunidos en Tegucigalpa, Honduras continuamos expresando nuestra oposición al libre comercio, en el marco de la VII Ronda de Negociación del Acuerdo de Asociación entre la Unión Europea y Centroamérica (AdA). Vemos como la crisis global tiene un impacto directo que sigue profundizando las condiciones de pobreza, exclusión, discriminación y marginación de nuestros pueblos, que se ha venido agravando con la entrada en vigencia del TLC con Estados Unidos y que nos ha hecho más dependientes de la economía de ese país, lo que provoca una mayor vulnerabilidad económica y pérdida de soberanía como pueblos y como región centroamericana. read full story / add a comment

AFTER PRESIDENT ÁLVARO URIBE VÉLEZ MADE UNSUBSTANTIATED CLAIMS AGAINST SOCIAL, POLITICAL AND HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS, THREATS HAVE INCREASED Two days after President Álvaro Uribe Vélez accused politicians who had demobilized from M-19 as “terrorists dressed in civilian clothes”, several social, labor, university and alternative press organizations received an email with a threat supposedly signed by paramilitary fronts, which call themselves New Generation Black Eagles (Nueva Generación Águilas Negras). read full story / add a comment

SE INCREMENTAN AMENAZAS QUE COINCIDEN CON SEÑALAMIENTOS DEL PRESIDENTE ALVARO URIBE VÉLEZ CONTRA ORGANIZACIONES SOCIALES, POLÍTICAS, DEFENSORAS DE DERECHOS HUMANOS, ENTRE OTRAS. Συλλογή κειμένων και ανακοινώσεων για το θάνατο του Pinochet, ο οποίος τερμάτισε τη ζωή του ατιμώρητος, προστατευόμενος από το κυβερνητικό συνασπισμό La Concertacion καθώς και όλο το πολιτικό φάσμα. Η σκοτεινή περίοδος της εξουσία του δεν θα μείνει στην μνήμη μας μόνο ως περίοδος βασανισμών και πολιτικών δολοφονιών, αλλά ακαι ως η απαρχή ενός οικονομικού-πολιτικού μοντέλου που αύξησε την περιθωριοποίηση και τον αποκλεισμό των λαϊκών στρωμάτων στον ανώτερο βαθμό. Ο αγώνας για απελευθέρωση δεν έληξε με τον επίσημο θάνατο της δικτατορίας και δεν πρόκειται να λήξει με το θάνατο αυτού του εγκληματία. read full story / add a comment

This is a selection of articles and public statements on the death of the dictator Pinochet, who end up his days in impunity, protected by the governements of the ruling political alliance (Concertación) and all of the political class. His dark period in power will not only be remebered for what it was as a tyranny marked by torture and political murder, but also, as the start of an economic and political model that increased the traditional marginalisation and exclusion of the Chilean popular sectors to its highest degree.The struggle for liberation was not over with the formal end of the dictatorship and it won't be over with the death of this criminal. read full story / add a comment |
