Fighting For Ourselves: Anarcho-Syndicalism and the Class Struggle (from this point on referred to as FFO) is an important contribution to existing introductory anarchist works and an essential read for those aiming to familiarise themselves with both historical and contemporary anarcho-syndicalist thought and practice. Este breve texto visa analisar, principalmente, a concepção de Estado para Élisée Reclus. Seu pensamento não é fragmentado e determinista; ele analisa o Estado através da compreensão da sociedade enquanto uma totalidade, ou seja, liga o Estado ao capitalismo e todas suas instituições. O militante anarquista foi espectro de estudos de diversas áreas do conhecimento, sobretudo da Geografia. Sendo assim, é considerado como um dos principais teóricos do anarquismo ao lado de Mikhail Bakunin, Pierre Joseph-Proudhon, Louise Michel, Piotr Kropotkin, Errico Malatesta, Cafiero, entre outros. O anarquista francês foi militante na AIT de 1864 e na Comuna de Paris de 1871 e influenciou além dos movimentos operários, o ambiente escolar-acadêmico através de sua metodologia, a educação para o ensino de geografia, além de dar um enfoque finalista: a destruição do capitalismo e do Estado.

Ο αγρότης, χωρικός αναρχικός Νέστωρ Μάχνο (1888 - 1934) ήταν μία από τις πιο σπουδαίες φυσιογνωμίες του ρωσικού εμφύλιου πολέμου (1918-1921). Αναγκάστηκε να καταφύγει στην εξορία στο τέλος του πολέμου, όπου έγραψε αρκετούς τόμους των απομνημονευμάτων του. În ultimul deceniu, o critică generalizată a civilizației a fost formulată de către un număr de autori, predominant din SUA. Unii dintre aceștia au ales să se identifice drept anarhiști, deși auto-indentificarea generală este de primitivist (sau din păcate “anarho”-primitivism). Argumentul lor general este că “civilizația” în sine este problema care duce la incapacitatea noastră de a trăi o viață plină de satisfacții. Astfel, lupta pentru schimbare este o luptă împotriva civilizației și pentru un pământ unde tehnologia a fost eliminată. Critica primitivistă a anarhismului se bazează în jurul susţinerii că ar fi descoperit o contradicție între libertate și societatea de masă. În alte cuvinte, ei văd ca o imposibilitate orice societate care implică grupuri mult mai mari decât un sat să fie o societate liberă. Dacă acest lucru ar fi fost adevărat, atunci ar face propunerea anarhistă a unei lumi a “federațiilor libere formate din municipii, orașe și sate o imposibilitate. Στον Πρώτο Τόμο του Anarchism: A Documentary History of Libertarian Ideas του Robert Graham συμπεριελήφθησαν αποσπάσματα από την ομιλία του Κάρλο Καφιέρo στην Ομοσπονδία Ζυρά (Jura) το 1880, όπου μίλησε για την υπόθεση του αναρχικού κομμουνισμού. Αργότερα επεκτάθηκε στο θέμα σε μια μακρά εργασία του με τον τίτλο “Επανάσταση”, η οποία μεταφράστηκε πρόσφατα στα αγγλικά από τον Nestor McNab και κυκλοφόρησε σε βιβλίο από την Black Cat Press (στη φωτογραφία μας το εξώφυλλο) του Καναδά. Nota biografica sull'autore: Edgar Emilio Rodríguez, di origine argentina è nato nel 1924, emigra nel 1946 a Rio de Janeiro, dove collabora con Manuel Pérez Fernández ed altri esiliati della CNT. Successivamente si trasferisce a Parigi, dove entra a far parte della Federación Ibérica de Juventudes Libertarias (FIJL) e si fa carico della direzione del suo organo di stampa, “Ruta”, fino a quando va sui Pirenei prendendo parte nel 1950 alla guerriglia di Marcel·lí Massana, in cui era conosciuto con il soprannome di “El Gringo”. Nel 1953, si stabilisce a Barcelona, dove è responsabile della stampa del periodico clandestino “Solidaridad Obrera”, e come tale viene arrestato dalla polizia spagnola. Dopo essere stato liberato nel 1957 ritorna in Francia, dove torna a far parte della Juventudes Libertarias. Negli anni '60 è stato tra i fondatori, a Parigi, della rivista di dibattito libertario “Presencia”, in cui ha pubblicato il seguente articolo nel numero di gennaio-febbraio 1966. The recent murder (on 9 January) in Paris of three Kurdish comrades, fighters for the liberation of their people, leaves us stunned and outraged. Sakîne Cansiz, founder member of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK - Partiya Karkerên Kurdistan); Fidan Doğan, representative in France of the National Congress of Kurdistan (KNK - Kongra Netewiya Kurdistan) and Leyla Söylemez, another Kurdish activist, all turned up shot dead dead in the Kurdistan Information Centre in Paris. We have every reason to suspect that the culprit behind this crime is linked to the Turkish state. This crime shows the extent of the tentacles of secret services of terrorist states in Europe, to whom the European Union shows full tolerance, if it is not actually an accomplice.
