Per avere città come quelle che vogliamo, e non come quelle che stanno costruendo per noi, bisogna riprendere con più vigore la lotta di classe, fare in modo che le disuguaglianze diminuiscano, che la solidarietà fra donne e uomini di qualsiasi nazionalità riprenda con forza, riportando all'attenzione di tutti i limiti di questa società nella quale cresce sempre più la ricchezza di pochi e lo sfruttamento di molti e dove la violenza contro le donne ne fa da padrone. El Dr. John Watson, Premio Nobel de Medicina en 1962, afirmó que los "negros" son menos inteligentes que los "blancos". Ese científico estadounidense, especialista en Genética, pronunció esa sentencia durante una entrevista al diario británico The Sunday Times. La información fue publicada por distintos medios de prensa el jueves 18 de octubre último pasado en varios países del mundo. Cabe recordar que Watson tiene 79 años, por ende ha vivido bastante para saber que las palabras de un científico de su nivel son siempre consideradas como sagradas por esa gran parte de la humanidad que sigue creyendo - de manera errónea, a mi entender - en el paradigma eurocentrista que plantea que la CIENCIA es el único medio válido para obtener conocimientos. De ahí, pienso, entonces, que el Dr. Watson debe estar muy seguro de su "verdad" para hablar de manera tan categórica como lo hizo. read full story / add a comment

Lo scorso 8 agosto l'equipaggio di due pescherecci tunisini ha tratto in salvo 44 immigrati che si trovavano alla deriva in pieno Canale di Sicilia e che rischiavano di affondare. I pescatori non hanno esitato a salvare quelle persone portandole a Lampedusa.
