Estas últimas semanas, las redes sociales se han llenado de rabia y frustración al hacerse evidente, una vez más, lo que ocurre hace muchísimo tiempo: tortura, violaciones y asesinatos de mujeres, por el solo hecho de ser mujeres. Van y vienen comentarios en todas direcciones. Reacciones organizadas por parte de mujeres en todo el mundo convocan a marchas, concentraciones y actividades bajo la consigna “Ni Una Menos”. Y también, por el otro lado, han surgido reacciones viscerales de hombres que, queriendo jugar al empate, levantan la consigna absurda de “nadie menos”, evidenciando que no es tan fácil, ni si quiera cuando hablamos del asesinato de mujeres, que “ellos” abandonen sus privilegios de dominación. Hoy es cada vez más claro que esta guerra silenciosa es una cuestión de vida o muerte, y la reflexión es la primera herramienta que tenemos para combatir esta extensa historia de dominación patriarcal. read full story / add a comment

Estamos en la semana en la que nació uno de los personajes históricos del movimiento libertario Colombiano. El 26 de octubre es el aniversario de Biófilo Panclasta, cuyo verdadero nombre es Vicente Rojas Lizcano. Vicente es uno de esos tantos libertarios que nacieron en la tierra colombiana, y que lucharon toda su vida por la transformación social, por una sociedad diferente. Eso lo llevó precisamente a viajar por más de 50 países alrededor del mundo, apoyando y solidarizándose con toda lucha con la que se encontraba, desde protestas obreras en Alemania, hasta protestas cafeteras en Brazil. En todo lado donde llegaba, trataba primero de comunicar, de formar y formarse para generar una consciencia crítica en las clases subalternas; y luego, como un hombre siempre abocado a la práctica, se lanzaba a la protesta, a la movilización, con el fin mismo de lograr las reivindicaciones. read full story / add a comment

The Campaign for the Freedom of Rafael Braga makes a call for collectives, movements and popular organizations all over the world to join us in the International Campaign for the Freedom of Rafael Braga. One of the main issued raised by the Campaign is the motivation behind the arrest of Rafael Braga. He was arrested and condemened in 2013 even without being a protester. He was arrested because he is Black and poor. Because he is not an activist, no mobilizations were made at the time and he was tried and condemned very quickly. Even after his sentencing, the mobilization around his case never achieved the level of the mobilizations around the case of other arrests of militants in 2013 and 2014. La Campaña por la Libertad de Rafael Braga llama a colectivos, movimientos y organizaciones populares de todo el mundo a unirnos en la Campaña Internacional por la Libertad de Rafael Braga. Una de las principales demandas planteadas por la campaña es el por qué Rafael ha sido, y todavía sigue encarcelado. Rafael Braga ha sido detenido y condenado en 2013, aunque no fuera manifestante. Fue detenido por ser Negro y pobre. Porqué no era militante, no hubo movilización en contra de su detención en ese entonces, y fue rápidamente juzgado y condenado. Incluso después de su condena, las movilizaciones por la libertad de Rafael Braga no han tenido la misma atención que las luchas por la libertad de otros presos en las manifestaciones del 2013 y 2014. Com sabeu, aquest company havia sigut detingut mesos abans en el marc de l’Operació Pandora, acusat sense fonaments de formar part d’una organització terrorista. El resultat d’aquestes investigacions, són proves que incriminen els aparells repressius de l’Estat, en àmbits coneguts per totes les lluitadores dels moviments contestataris d’aquest país: coaccions i amenaces per obtenir informació, llistes negres, falsos processos judicials en els quals la policia no només fa d’acusació sinó que també de fiscalia, etc. Gràcies als enregistraments de veu realitzats, junt amb la resta de proves obtingudes, Iridia va poder presentar una querella, que com sabeu, el passat dijous dia 6 d’octubre, va ser admesa a tràmit. read full story / add a comment

A muchos parece haber impresionado que hace poco los zapatistas, englobados alrededor del EZLN (Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional) y dentro de su participación en el CNI (Congreso Nacional Indígena) que llevó a cabo su quinto congreso, precisamente durante su 20 aniversario de nacimiento, hicieron un declaración conjunta en la que manifiestan, además de continuar con su lucha desde abajo y a la izquierda, participar articuladamente en hacer una deliberación en todas las localidades de los procesos adheridos al CNI. Esta deliberación será sobre lo decidido en este quinto congreso, además de escoger un grupo de personas que conformaran un Consejo Indígena de Gobierno, del cuál emergerá una mujer indígena que será candidata tanto del CNI como del EZLN para las elecciones mexicanas del 2018. read full story / add a comment |
