The peak of the struggle was the escalation in the settler colonialists' terror in 'Anata, where a mob of local settlers - including personnel of the State forces who live there, attacked Jewish radical activists accompanying Palestinians who tried to access their land. The State forces - police and gendarmes - present stayed presumably "neutral" but threatened activists and even arrested three. As a measure against the settlers' escalating terror, the joint monitoring project of the popular grassroots committees is collecting momentum. The "regular" locations of joint struggle - both within the 1948 borders, mainly the Bedouins of the south, and Jaffa; the weekly joint demonstrations the Anarchists Against the Wall are involved in: Beit Ummar, Bil'in, Nabi Salih, Ni'lin, and Ma'sarah; and Sheikh Jarrah too. The desperation of the settler colonialists resulting from the approaching of the moment of truth and the shattering of their dream of the enlarged Israel, cause mounting of brutal assaults. Latest escalation was in the brutal assault on the Israeli non violent activists in the village Anata near the Settler colonialist settlement Anatot. The escalation was also of the state forces who were present at the confrontation but all they did was arresting three activist on concocted charges. State force personnel living in the settlement who were of duty participated in the assault. The main locations of joint struggles the anarchists against the wall activists are the leading Israelis: Bil'in, Ni'ilin, Nabi-Saleh, and Ma'asara keep the struggle going, and so are the struggles in Sheikh Jarrah, Arakib, Wallaje, and the South of Hebron Hills. Quella di Bil'in è stata la prima lotta unitaria non violenta a persistere. Nel corso degli anni si sono avute nuove lotte unitarie che si sono aggiunte a quelle precedenti. Le località in cui la lotta si era fermata, tornano a mobilitarsi di tanto in tanto. Lo scorso anno si sono aggiunte alcune lotte iniziate in alcuni villaggi da attivisti del posto di propria iniziativa. Il lavoro organizzativo del comitato unitario delle lotte locali favorisce la lotta ed ha iniziato di tanto in tanto a concentrare gli sforzi su una sola località. Recentemente, un'altra iniziativa unitaria del comitato era diretta monitorare il terrorismo dei coloni degli insediamenti. Bil'in was the first of the joint struggle nonviolent struggle to persist. During the years new joint struggles started with involvement of the previous joint struggles and persist for long time. Older locations who did not persist, join again from time to time. Last year or so few additional struggles initiated by villages activists on their own initiative. The organizing of the joint comity of the local struggles enhance the struggle and initiate from time to time concentration of efforts in one location. Lately, another joint initiative of the comity intending for monitoring the colonialist settlers terror was started. Sebbene Israele sia in preda al panico, e molti Palestinesi abbiano sentimenti contrastanti, continua la lotta unitaria contro il muro della separazione, contro l'occupazione e contro la soppressione dei palestinesi israeliani. Prosegue anche la lotta contro la nuova ondata di attacchi ai danni dei Beduini, sia all'interno di Israele che nella Cisgiordania occupata. Va avanti anche la lotta contro il terrore dei coloni verso i loro vicini palestinesi. E naturalmente prosegue anche la lotta contro il muro della separazione nei luoghi in cui è stato già costruito ed in quelli in cui ci sono i cantieri aperti. Un'attenzione speciale va alla fiera lotta a Gerusalemme Est occupata, soprattutto a Silwan e Sheikh Jarah. Day after day, year after year, the struggle against the Israeli advanced expansion, suppression and pressures on the Palestinians to be transferred out of the region continues all the time. The efforts of persistence - Tsumud in Arabic - continue throughout the years with a scant portion of the members of the Jewish community joining the struggle. Some of them join only specific aspects of the struggles. A very few join the struggle wholeheartedly, without reservation. The struggle against the separation fence initiated by grassroots activists of villages along the route which was joined by the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall (AAtW) in 2003 has brought the non-violent direct-action mode of struggle into the media focus - thanks to a large extent to the video photographers of the AAtW and the ActiveStills collective. Palestine-Israel, The involvement of activists in the Israeli uprising was in parallel to the joint struggle ---- The Israeli uprising included also the Israeli Palestinian citizens. Within the social justice struggle, the anarchist against the wall were involved mainly in the Lewinski tent camp that included the African refugees and in the Jaffa Jewish-Palestinian tent camp. We continued - though with smaller numbers in the regular joint struggle with the occupied west bank villagers in Beit Ommar, Bil'in, Qaddom, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, South of Hebron hills, Wallaje. Nella regione si trattiene il fiato in attesa del rimpasto di settembre. Nel frattempo lotte unitarie nelle solite località: a Beit Ummar, Bil'in, Gerusalemme/Al-Quds, Silwan, Ma'sara, Nabi Salih, Ni'lin, sulle colline a sud di Hebron, e continuano le lotte per la giustizia sociale in Israele. Sebbene la tendenza principale della lotta contro l'austerità neoliberista non copra Gaza e le regioni palestinesi occupate, tuttavia coinvolge i palestino-israeliani i quali oltre alle discriminazioni ed al progressivo furto delle loro terre subiscono anche i colpi del neoliberismo. La lotta unitaria nella Cisgiordania occupata prosegue sullo sfondo della vasta mobilitazione per la giustizia sociale in Israele. La "Rivoluzione degli Ulivi" si è espressa soprattutto nella manifestazione di venerdì scorso a Qalandiya. Gli Anarchici Contro il Muro e gli attivisti dei villaggi di Ni'lin, Bil'in e Nabi Salih si sono ritrovati a Qalandiya invece che restare nei loro villaggi. Nonostante questa decisione, la manifestazione del venerdì a Bil'in si è svolta lo stesso. Si sono tenute anche le manifestazioni sulle colline sud di Hebron e sabato le azioni a Walaja e Beit Ummar. Prosegue anche il fermento e la lotta contro il progetto colonialista a Silwan, nella Gerusalemme est occupata. The joint struggle in the occupied West Bank continues to the background of the widespread social justice struggle in Israel. The "Olive Revolution" was expressed mainly in Friday's demonstration in Qalandiya. The Anarchists Against the Wall and village activists of Ni'lin, Bil'in and Nabi Salih converged in Qalandiya instead of the usual local actions. In spite of this, the Bil'in Friday demo was not canceled. The other struggles in South of Hebron Hills and the Saturday actions in Walaja and Beit Ummar were not missed either. The ferment and struggle against the settler project in eastern Jerusalem, occupied Silwan, continues too. The people of the region are starting to hold their breath looking forward for the middle of September reshuffle. Meanwhile, the usual locations of joint struggle: Beit Umar, Bil'in, Jerusalem-Al-Kuds, Silwan, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, South of Hebron Hills, and the inter Israeli social justice struggles continue. Though the main trend of the struggle against neo-liberalism austerity do not refer to the occupied Palestinian regions and Gaza, it does include the Israeli Palestinians which suffer in addition to neo-liberalism the suppression and discrimination and still advancing robbery of their lands. In spite of suspected inflammation in military clashes related to Gaza the social justice struggle continue - including a many thousands strong silent demonstration in Tel Aviv (5000 to 30000 according to various sources - my count was: "one, two, three, many"). Gli attivisti di sinistra israeliani e gli Anarchici Contro il Muro hanno partecipato in questa settimana soprattutto all'insorgenza di lotte sociali ma non è venuta meno la partecipazione alla lotta unitaria con gli attivisti palestinesi di base nonostante il digiuno quotidiano previsto dal Ramadan. Sono circa 80 le tendopoli - 7 quelle grandi a Tel Aviv, ed a dozzine in città a presenza sia ebraica che palestinese o in città abitate solo da palestinesi israeliani. Il coinvolgimento degli anarchici contro il muro (spalla a spalla con gli attivisti della rete di solidarietà di Sheikh Jarrah) nelle lotte unitarie è un po' diminuito. Molte energie vengono impiegate nelle mobilitazioni in Israele. I compagni sono presenti soprattutto a Jaffa nel punto tenda di abitanti ebrei e palestinesi e nella tendopoli Lewinsky nel quartiere proletario. Sebbene alcuni "trattengano il respiro" in attesa delle decisioni ONU di settembre, le lotte unitarie si intensificano mentre le forze di stato aumentano i loro sforzi per mettere fine alle lotte unitarie a Nabi Salih, Ni'lin, Walaje, e Beit Ummar. The involvement in the Israeli uprising need attending to. Comrades are involved mainly in the Jaffa joint tent camp of Jews and Palestinian inhabitants and the Lewinsky camp of poor working class neighborhood. Though some "hold their breath" waiting for September UN activity, the local struggles intensify as state forces increase their efforts to put end to the joint struggle in Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Wallage, and Beit Ummar.
