Mentre si avvicina il momento della verità per l'ultimo progetto colonialista nel mondo moderno, la destra intensifica le sue minacce e la sinistra radicale sionista e non-sionista adottano la modalità anarchica dell'azione diretta persistente. Lunedì 14 marzo, in un pomeriggio soleggiato, Abdallah Abu Rahme - l'iniziatore della lotta unitaria popolare non-violenta nel villaggio di Bil'in nel 2006 - è uscito dal campo di concentramento israeliano di Ofer dopo un anno e mezzo di condanna per istigazione ed ha abbracciato Jonatan Pollak - uno dei fondatori degli Anarchici Contro il Muro nel 2003, liberato lo scorso mese dopo 3 mesi di reclusione per manifestazione non autorizzata. Abdallah ha anche abbracciato chi vi scrive ed altri attivisti degli Anarchici Contro il Muro che sono venuti alla festa. Yesterday, on a sunny Monday afternoon, Abdallah Abu Rahme - the initiator of the joint non-violent popular struggle in the village Bil'in 2006, just released from the Israeli concentration camp Ofer after a year and a half sentence for incitement, hugged Jonathan Polak - one of the founders of the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall 2003, released last month after 3 months sentence for unlawful demonstrations. Abdallah also hugged me and the other activists of the AAtW who came to the celebration. It was a bright moment for the more than hundred activists after a "regular" week of struggle in the various locations: Al Araqeeb, Beit Ummar, Bil'in, Lod, Al Ma'sara, Nabi Salih, Ni'lin, Sheikh Jarrah, and more. There are four main areas of struggles the AAtW activists are involved with: Joint struggle with communities that invite us to join, like Bil'in and other struggles against the separation fence. Other joint struggles against occupation and settler colonialists like Nabi Salih. Joint struggles with wider coalitions like the Sheikh Jarrah coalition and South Hebron. The fourth is within Israel, like prison and jail solidarity, Al Araqeeb and Lod. The ongoing struggles of the few dozen activists of the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall initiative began in Mas'ha camp 2003 on the route of separation fence. The direct actions of one-sided non-violent activities together with popular grassroots Palestinian activists have become the focus for hundreds of Israelis of a wider political spectrum and/or lower level of involvement. The struggle which we started within the 1967 occupation regions "spilled" over to the original 1948 borders of Israel and to other social class struggles. The AAtW's activity draws other Israeli political organizations, initiatives and NGOs into the joint struggle. Even the radical Zionist leftists were touched and are now the core of Solidarity Sheikh Jarrah... which is expanding to other parts of occupied East Jerusalem and even into struggles within the 1948 borders like Araqeeb, Jaffa and Lod. read full story / add a comment
