In addition to the usual Bil'in, Ni'ilin, and Maasara, and the recently added Nabi Saleh and Sheikh Jarrah, we had Beit Jalla, Budrus and Beit Omar that were very militant years ago. In addition to these joint struggles the anarchists against the wall participated in, there were additional locations of struggle with Internationals or just local Palestinians. It seems that because of media (public) protests, the state forces refrained from blocking our way to the joint struggle in Bil'in, and were unusually restrained in the confrontation with the stone throwing youngsters. Questo weekend gli Anarchici Contro il Muro israeliani hanno partecipato anche ad ulteriori lotte in località che si stanno stabilizzando come nuovi fronti: Beit Jala, Beit Ummar, Bil'in, Jeb Altheeb, Ma'sara, Nabi Salih, Ni'ilin, Sheikh Jarrah. Le forze di stato continuano ad impedire l'accesso dei manifestanti a Bil'in e Ni'ilin ma con scarsi risultati. Molti attivisti si sono poi spostati dalle manifestazioni di mezzogiorno a quella a Sheikh Jarrah. La scorsa notte (alba di lunedì) alle 2:00, le forze di stato sono entrate nel villaggio per affiggere in tutto il villaggio molte copie di un documento in cui si dice che agli attivisti israeliani ed internazionali è strettamente proibito entrare a Bil'in dalle 8 alle 20 di ogni venerdì, giornata in cui si svolge la manifestazione. Nonostante le provocazioni delle forze di Stato, la lotta si allarga. Oltre alle manifestazioni che si tengono "regolarmente" a Bil'in, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Ma'sara, e Sheikh Jarrah, ora entra nell'elenco settimanale anche il villaggio di Beit Omar. Il villaggio di Beit Jalla, che negli ultimi tempi è stato più defilato, ha ospitato una riunione regionale in settimana. A Giaffa (annessa a Tel Aviv) c'è stato un altro sabato di lotta unitaria, questa volta contro il crescere della repressione poliziesca contro i cittadini palestinesi. Durante la settimana abbiamo dato sostegno ad azioni davanti a tribunali e carceri in solidarietà con attivisti israeliani (contestando un verdetto di condanna ad un mese di carcere per un presunto assalto ai gendarmi nel corso di un'azione unitaria) e con cittadini di Bil'in detenuti nel campo ci concentramento di Ofer per una presunta incitazione alla raccolta di armi dell'esercito (con riferimento alle granate sparate contro di noi nelle manifestazioni). This weekend the Israeli anarchists against the wall initiative were involved in even more struggles in more locations that become regular fronts: Beit Jalla, Bait Omar, Bil'in, Jeb Altheeb, Ma'asara, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Sheikh Jarrah. The state forces continued half heartedly to prevent the access of demonstrators to come to Bil'in and Ni'ilin but failed. Many activists continued from the noon demonstrations to the one at Sheikh Jarrah. Last night (Monday early morning) at 02:00 AM, state forces entered the village. Many copies of a document was posted around the whole village. This document declared that Israeli and international activists were strictly prohibited from entering Bil'in between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm on every Friday, the day in which the weekly demonstration takes place. In spite of increase of state forces harassments the struggle expand. In addition to the "regular" Bil'in, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, and Sheikh Jarrah, Beit Omar seems to join the weekly schedule. Beit Jalla that seems to be less in the focus lately, got a regional convergence this week. Jafa (annexed to Tel Aviv) had this Saturday another joint struggle - this time around escalation in repression of Palestinian citizens by police. during the week we had prison/court support actions for Israeli activist (contesting a verdict of one month in jail for bogus assault on gendarmes in a joint action) and with Bil'iners held in the Ofer concentration camp for bogus claim of incitement and collecting military means (used grenades thrown at us in demonstrations). Durante la settimana, i media hanno parlato in continuazione dell'allargamento della lotta palestinese non-armata e del ruolo degli Anarchici Contro il Muro e di altri radicali israeliani (quasi sempre con riferimento al quinto anniversario di Bil'in). Sono stati criticati i tentativi delle forze di Stato nell'impedire agli israeliani di unirsi alla lotta unitaria; forse è questa la ragione del fatto che questo venerdì non ci hanno fermato. Sebbene alcuni attivisti attesi non siano potuti arrivare a causa delle piogge torrenziali (Ma'sara, Beit Umar) altri non si sono arresi alla pioggia a Bil'in, Hebron, Nabi Saleh, Ni'ilin, Tel Aviv. Lo Stato israeliano e le sue forze sapevano che la lotta unitaria degli Anarchici Contro il Muro e del Comitato popolare di Bil'in contro il muro della separazione avrebbe portato un sacco di guai. Hanno cercato di spegnere la fiamma della lotta quando era agli inizi. Hanno alternato nel corso degli anni varie misure repressive: e sotto gli occhi dell'opinione pubblica israeliana hanno fallito. Hanno usato il villaggio di Bil'in come un banco di prova per testare armi "non letali" per la dispersione di manifestazioni. Ma hanno dovuto rassegnarsi a vedere la lotta unitaria non armata espandersi agli altri villaggi e ad altri scenari dell'occupazione. The Israeli state and its forces knew that the joint struggle of the anarchists against the wall and the Bil'in popular comity against the separation fence means trouble. They tried hard to extinguish the flame of the struggle when it just started. They vacillated along the years between the various repression measures - limited by the Israeli public opinions, but failed. They used the Bil'in village as a testing field for "non lethal" means for dispersion of crowds... They resigned in dismay to see the joint non armed struggle expand to other villages and to other aspects of occupation. Even this weekend, in parallel to the special mobilization for the 5th anniversary demonstration in Bil'in, we had the joint demos in Maasara, Ni'ilin' Nabi Saleh, and Sheikh Jarrah. Durante la settimana siamo stati presenti a Sheikh Jarrah. Ci sono state piantumazioni di alberi nella regione di Ma'sara (anche sabato 13). Venerdì 12 manifestazioni unitarie a Bil'in, Ma'sara, Nabi Salih, Ni'ilin, Sheikh Jarrah. Sabato 13 un'altra giornata di azione nel sud di Israele nella regione beduina. I manifestanti diretti a Ni'ilin, Bil'in, ed a Ma'sara sono stati costretti a lunghe attese ed a lunghi intralci a posti di blocco e qualcuno non è riuscito a passare. Il prossimo venerdì sarà il quinto anniversario della lotta a Bi'lin. Si prevede una mobilitazione generale per una manifestazione da farsi sia nella Cisgiordania palestinese che in Israele. During the week there were involvements in Sheikh Jarrah. There were tree planting in the Ma'asara region (including Saturday). Friday joint actions were in Bil'in, Ma'asara, Nsbi Salih, Ni'ilin, Sheikh Jarrah. Saturday was another day of action within Israel south in the Bedwin region. Demonstrators on their way to Ni'ilin, Bil’in, and Ma’asara villages had long waits, much questioning at checkpoints and some could not arrive there. On the next Friday there will be the fifth year anniversary in Bi'lin. General mobilization is planed for the demonstration both in the Palestinian west bank and in Israel. La lotta unitaria tende ad espandersi costantemente. Ci sono state le manifestazioni del venerdì a Bil'in, Nebi Salah, Ni'ilin, Ma'sara,ed a Sheikh Jarrah, con molti partecipanti in due casi. La lotta dei refusnics prosegue ora a sostegno di Emelia dopo che Or è stata congedata dall'esercito dopo i 3 periodi in carcere militare. Ancora richieste agli Anarchici Contro il Muro perché si uniscano alle lotte della settimana a Sheikh Jarrah ed in tribunale per essere presenti alle udienze del processo contro attivisti di Bi'lin presso il tribunale militare di Ofer. A sud, sia in Israele che nella Cisgiordania occupata, non si ferma la lotta anche se non ci sono manifestazioni del venerdì. L'attività del weekend si è allargata nonostante l'aumento della repressione statale. Ma tale incremento repressivo a Bil'in e She Nabi Saleh non ha fermato la lotta unitaria e lo stesso è successo a Ni'ilin. A Sheikh Jarrah si è estesa dal venerdì a tutti i giorni della settimana la lotta contro lo sgombero delle famiglie palestinesi per fare spazio ai coloni. Gli sforzi della polizia di mettere fine alle manifestazioni del venerdì sono diventati un boomerang portando addirittura alla mobilitazione dei più radicali circoli sionisti che si sono uniti agli Anarchici Contro il Muro nelle manifestazioni di venerdì 22 gennaio. The joint struggle keep expanding. We had again the Friday demonstrations in Bilin, Nebi Salah, Ni'ilin, Ma'asara, and a Sheikh Jarrah... with many participating in two of them. The refusnics struggle continue with Emelia replacing Or released from the army after three terms in prison. More invitation for the anarchists Against the Wall to join struggles are received and activists participate during the week in Sheikh Jarrah and in court solidarity at Ofer military hearings (of Bil'iners mainly). At the south, both within Israel and the occupied west bank the struggle do not stop though no regular Friday action(s) there. Gli Anarchici Contro Il Muro sono stati molto impegnati durante la scorsa settimana nel portare la propria solidarietà ai disertori davanti al tribunale nella prigione militare di Ofer ed a fianco delle famiglie palestinesi a Sheikh Jarrah. Invitati speciali gli Anarchici Contro il Muro per le 5 manifestazioni più importanti di questo venerdì, andando ben oltre la nostra partecipazione standard: in 50 a Bil'in ed in 30 a Ma'sara, e poi in 10 a Ni'ilin ed in 5 nel nuovo fronte di Nabi Saleh. Più della metà di questi 90 attivisti hanno poi proseguito la giornata riversandosi su Sheikh Jarrah per unirsi agli altri che erano andati lì direttamente. Le forze di Stato sembrano essere più preoccupate nelle ultime settimane e perciò hanno inasprito le persecuzioni contro i nostri amici palestinesi. Sabato 16 e domenica 17 alle ore 20.00, circa 200 persone sono venute alla manifestazione di solidarietà fuori della prigione. Sheikh Jarrah ed altre località di Gerusalemme Est in primo piano durante la settimana insieme alle manifestazioni del venerdì. Le manifestazioni del venerdì a Ni'ilin e Ma'sara sono continuate nonostante la repressione delle forze di Stato israeliane. A Bil'in le forze di Stato hanno continuato nelle violenze contro il Comitato popolare, sia mettendo attivisti in carcere sia con "visite" fatte al villaggio in piena notte. A Walaja salgono le fiamme in risposta ai nuovi sforzi di annettere ancora più terra per gli insediamenti dei coloni nei quartieri a sud-est di Gerusalemme. Nabi-Saleh ha avuto un altro venerdì nella lotta del villaggio contro l'annessione della sua terra a vantaggio dell'adiacente insediamento coloniale di Halamish. La settimana per Gaza è iniziata con la manifestazione di sabato scorso a Giaffa, è proseguita con la manifestazione di domenica scorsa a Gaza sulla spiaggia. Martedì all'università di Be'er Sheva, giovedì al blocco stradale di Erez e questo sabato a Tel Aviv. Come al solito, oltre alle consuete manifestazioni del venerdì a Bil'in, Ma'asara, e Ni'ilin, siamo stati invitati venerdì nella regione di Bidu e sabato a Safa. La lotta dei refusniks continua con un altro giovane in carcere militare per un mese. L'indignazione delle autorità e l'estrema destra continuano a stare sui media pubblici, con passi vacillanti delle autorità nel tentativo di reprimere le varie azioni. Quella parte dei media "vicina" alla sinistra ci hanno dato un po' di spazio: "Un film sul nostro amico David Reeb è passato su canale 8, diretto da David Ofek. The AAtW activists were busy during the week in court solidarity in Ofer military prison and with the families of Sheikh Jarrah. Special invitation of the AAtW for this Friday five main demonstrations resulted in the more than usual mobilization to Bil'in (50) and Maasara 30 - in addition to Ni'ilin (10) and the new location Nebi Saleh (5). More than half of these 90 activists continued to the Sheikh Jarrah to join others who went directly there.) State forces seems to start worrying even more last few weeks and increased significantly the persecution of our Palestinian partners. Sheikh Jarrah and other locations in East Jerusalem were in the focus: both during the week and in the Friday demons. The Friday demonstrations in Ni'ilin and Ma'asara continued in spite of Israeli state forces to smother them. In Bil'in the state forces continued their harassments of the popular comity - both with activists in jail and "visits" to the village in the week's nights. Wallaje flames rise again in response to renewed efforts to annex more lands to the expanding settlers neighborhoods of south east Jerusalem. Nabi-Saleh had another Friday demonstration in the village struggle against annexation of its lands to the adjacent Halamish settlement.
