Φυσικά, η Ελλάδα ως χώρα μέσου επιπέδου καπιταλιστικής ανάπτυξης, επιδιώκει τη γεωστρατηγική της αναβάθμιση πουλώντας γεωπολιτικές εξυπηρετήσεις όχι επειδή είναι ισχυρή και “ιμπεριαλιστική”, αλλά ακριβώς για τους αντίθετους λόγους: επειδή είναι στριμωγμένη στη γωνία. Ούτως ή άλλως, περισσότερο καθεστώς ανεπίσημου οιονεί προτεκτοράτου θυμίζει το καθεστώς διαρκούς οικονομικής εποπτείας και η επιβολή σκληρών και εξοντωτικών όρων δανεισμού για την ανατροφοδότηση του χρέους, καθώς και οι ρυθμίσεις που επιβάλει το “αριστερό” μνημόνιο, όπως η προγενέστερη έγκριση των δανειστών για νομοσχέδια που θα κατεβάζει η κυβέρνηση ή η αποδοχή της γερμανικής απαίτησης για τη δημιουργία ενός νέου αποθεματικού “υπερταμείου” ξεπουλήματος στρατηγικών τομέων της δημόσιας περιουσίας. ... read full story / add a comment

This article is about retaking the city of Mosul that has been under control of Isis since 09/06/2014. At the moment the Iraqi government is in talk with KRG and US forces about making plan to liberate it. In my opinion this will be one of the bloodiest battle that could happen in Iraq since 2003 after the invasion. I believe there is a hidden agenda, when Isis is defeated, it will try to run away. Chi ha tutto l'interesse ad arruolare, addestrare e strumentalizzare i miliziani jihadisti, temo che non insegua affatto delle finalità religiose. Mi riferisco a quei manovratori politici che siedono nelle "alte sfere" del potere che agiscono sul terreno internazionale. L'Isis si insinua dentro i conflitti intestini al mondo islamico, in primis nello scontro secolare tra sunniti e sciiti, per rovesciare i rapporti di forza vigenti nel quadro politico arabo-islamico, in regioni geopolitiche e strategiche assai delicate e determinanti per le sorti del capitalismo, quali il Medio Oriente o il Golfo Persico, non soltanto perché ricche di materie prime e giacimenti petroliferi. Roughly 50 years ago we saw the dismantling of most of the European colonial empires in Africa. High hopes greeted the "new nations" that merged - and certainly, a move from colonial rule, with its racism and external control and extractive economies, was progressive. However, many of the hopes were soon dashed. Politically, most independent African states moved in the direction of dictatorships and one-party systems, normally headed by the nationalist party that took office at independence - and, over time, the military became a major player too.
