The capitalist system has developed to a higher stage. The concentration of capital and the lowering of borders between individual capitalist states has diminished national competition and brought a new era. No more threat of military wars between States and blocs of States. Much less the need of capitalists to ensure the willingness of wage slaves to fight for them in wars. Production and even services are moving to the less-developed countries. In rejecting all representative democracy in which individuals and parties are elected to rule society or part of it, extreme decentralized modes were adopted by anarchists. However, the understanding that we live in one world that cannot be managed by independent units is gaining momentum. Lot of anticapitalists present some opinions about the post capitalist antiauthoritarian society. Usually people have one sided point of reference: the opposite of the present globalized capitalism. Introduction: These "glimpses" are a way to make the world commune of communities that go to make up the libertarian communist society a little less abstract... They are based on the big experiment of the kibbutzes - the (almost) century-long commune movement in Palestine/Israel - and on my involvement with it since age 7, and my experience living on kibbutzes between the ages 16 to 32. Nearly none of the members of the kibbutzes were libertarian communists. Most were first and foremost naZionists of various trends. But, until it started to deteriorate, internal relations among the kibbutz members were of a libertarian communist kind and decision-making was mainly done through direct democracy.
