category central america / caribbean | miscellaneous | opinion / analysis author Friday August 21, 2009 21:13author by Jan Makandal Report this post to the editors

wE will never be satisfied under capitalism.

The Industrial park is occupied by the anti-national, anti popular national police[PNH] The Haitian chamber of deputies voted to ratify Preval'proposal of 125 gourds in the interest of the bosses. Students are still demonstrating. On Wednesday August 19, students hung a big poster board identifying al of those that supported the 125 gourd. So that we will not forget. Our pencils have no eraser. The workers are also identifying their class enemy. The workers are continuing their battles. One worker declares “Deputies , the president and the bosses are inhumane Our struggle just begun”. A woman worker declares “ look all around you. This is a camp for slaves. The policeman are all over to stop us from demanding our rights.
In support of the workers We must have for objective the international isolation of the Haitian bourgeoisie and the reinforcement, through international solidarity, of the cause of the workers. In doing so isolate imperialism and all their bluff on helping Haiti. Expose the demagoguery of bourgeois democracy.

Picket were respectively held in NY and Miami in support of workers and students.
