The text “In Rojava: People’s War is not Class War”, which you can read below, represents a contribution of the “Internationalist Communist Tendency” (ICT) to a debate that has been taking place in certain circles claiming “anti-capitalist struggle” since several weeks. The central points of this discussion are current events in Western Kurdistan - Rojava. read full story / add a comment

Rumours of war resound noisily in Europe again, cannons are loaded, fighter-bombers are packed with murderous bullets and bombs, missiles point their nuclear warheads at their future objectives: after wars that caused unrest locally and according to circumstances in Yugoslavia, Georgia, Chechnya, Dagestan, Ossetia etc. during this last quarter of century, preconditions for a new war have been intensively maturing in the Ukraine now, a war much more extensive and with unimaginable international effects. read full story / add a comment

Since weeks and months a strong movement is taking place in the so-called "Arab world", which is nothing but a part of the whole world of capital. Countries like Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya, Syria, etc., cities like Tunis, Gafsa, Sfax, Kasserine, Cairo, Alexandria, Suez, Sanaa, Aden, Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata, Tobruk, Damas, Deraa, Lattakia, Homs, etc. are in fire and burning from our social anger. Protests and demonstrations, clashes with police and special units, mass and violent strikes, lootings, burnings down of banks and state institutions, actions of solidarity and agitation, setting up committees and "shoras"... all that and many others are expressions of the proletarian movement that has been spreading across these regions. It is our class perspective what emerges from these "popular revolts" â in organising structures for distribution of food and medical help outside and against exchange relations like in Misrata e.g., as in workers destroying headquarters of Egyptian official trade union or in revolutionary defeatist demonstrations in Saudi Arabia against their "own" troops being sent to crush the rebellion in Bahrain.
